Overview
Raid & Scam Shield is a self-hosted Discord bot that watches how people arrive and what they post. Detection reads join rate, account age, default avatars and pattern-named accounts, then escalates the gate on its own: slow mode, verification required, invites paused, full lockdown. Every step is one click to raise and one click to reverse.
It is for communities that have been hit once and do not want a second night of it. A phishing filter matches maintained scam domains and their lookalikes, caught accounts go to a quarantine role and a review queue where a person releases them, and admin-action protection puts rate limits and confirmations in front of mass bans, channel deletions and role changes, with an alert either way. Webhook hygiene checks flag tokens that are exposed or hold more permission than they need.
Blocklists, heuristics and rule packs are updated every month while you are subscribed, with fixes when Discord's API changes. If you cancel, updates stop and the licence to run the shield ends with the period you have paid for. Incident timelines stay on your own host.

License

Installation
- 1Download the shield from your Gaming Library.
- 2Create a bot application in the Discord developer portal and copy its token into the config.
- 3Start the bot with Docker or Node.js, then set your quarantine role and alert channel.
- 4Run a week in review only, then arm the gates at the thresholds the log suggests.
If you cancel
- Access and updates continue until the end of the period you paid for.
- The licence to run the shield ends with the subscription.
- Remove the bot from your Discord once access ends; incident logs stay on your own host.
