1 / 3Built interface — Player menu
Overview
Lifesteal SMP Kit is a configured Paper server for the lifesteal format, where every kill takes a heart from the victim and gives it to the killer. The plugin set, the configs and the spawn build are delivered together, so the heart cap, the ban-at-zero rule, the revive cost and the claim sizes are decided in one config.yml rather than across six plugins that were never meant to agree with each other.
Heart mechanics cover the whole loop. Players start with a configurable number of hearts, lose one on death to a player, gain one on a kill, and can craft heart items from a recipe you set. At zero hearts a player is banned, spectated or sent to a limbo world depending on the mode, and a revive beacon crafted by a friend brings them back at the beacon's location with the starting heart count.
Around the hearts sit the social systems that keep a lifesteal server alive past the first week. Clans have ranks, a shared home and friendly fire rules. Bounties are placed with in-game currency and paid out through Vault on the kill. Land claims protect bases with a configurable block budget per player, and the rules GUI shows the server rules as a chest menu players must accept on first join.
The Discord bridge posts kills, heart eliminations, revives and bounty claims to a channel through a webhook you create, and can mirror chat in both directions if you run the bundled bot from source on your own hosting. The kit is maintained against Paper releases while subscribed, so a new Minecraft version means an updated jar set and a changelog rather than a weekend of debugging.

Eligible resources
The plan covers these resource types. Individual resources are listed in your Gaming Library as they publish.
- Heart plugin
- Clans plugin
- Bounty board
- Claims config
- Spawn build
- Discord bridge
Features
- One config for hearts
- Start hearts, cap, loss on death, gain on kill and the elimination mode live in one file, so the rules stay consistent across plugins.
- Revives with a cost
- A revive beacon needs materials your economy actually values, so eliminations matter without being permanent for players with friends.
- Kept current with Paper
- Each Paper release gets a tested jar set and a changelog while you are subscribed, so version bumps stop being a risk.
