Black & White is a compact set of monochrome conversions with a clear purpose for each: a balanced classic mono, a punchy high-contrast look, a soft matte fade, a cool silver tone, a gritty grain look, dramatic low key, bright high key and a subtle selenium tone.

Each look uses its own channel mix, so skies, skin and foliage separate into different greys, and each ships as an XMP preset for Lightroom and Camera Raw and a matching LUT for video.

1. Unzip the download

2. Lightroom Classic: Develop → Presets panel → + → Import Presets, then choose the XMP files

3. Photoshop: open an image in Camera Raw → Presets → Import Profiles & Presets

4. Video: load a .cube file as a LUT (Resolve LUT folder, Premiere Lumetri → Creative → Look, Final Cut Custom LUT)

5. Adjust exposure and white balance for each photo after applying a look

The XMP presets and the LUTs are built from the same look settings but applied by different engines, so results are close rather than identical. White balance shifts in the presets apply to JPEG, HEIC and TIFF files; set white balance by eye on raw files. Previews show the LUTs applied to DistroSource 3D renders, not photographs.
