Overview
Staff Training Program exists because most communities train moderators by letting them watch someone else for a week and hoping it sticks. This is a written programme instead: six modules that every new moderator works through in the same order, so a person promoted in March and a person promoted in September have been told the same things about tone, evidence and when to escalate.
The modules cover written tone and de-escalation, the escalation ladder and who owns each rung, collecting evidence that survives an appeal, privacy and what staff may not share, handling friends and regulars, and recognising burnout in yourself and others. Each module ends with scenario quizzes drawn from real moderation situations with a discussion of the better answers, and the trainer's notes explain what to look for in a trainee's responses.
Around the modules sit the operational pieces: a staff handbook template you fill with your own rules and channels, shadowing checklists for the first two weeks with sign-off boxes, a certification quiz and badge images for Discord roles, and a quarterly refresher outline. Everything is delivered as Markdown and PDF with editable sources, and the plan revises the material as Discord moderation tools and community norms change.

License
- Licensed for your own community, server, team or channel.
- You may edit and publish the material for that community.
- Reselling the files or offering them as templates is not permitted.
Installation
- 1Download Staff Training Program from your Gaming Library.
- 2Fill in the handbook template with your rules, channels and escalation contacts.
- 3Give each new moderator the modules in order and the shadowing checklist to their mentor.
- 4Run the certification quiz at the end of week two and assign the badge role.
If you cancel
- Access and updates continue until the end of the period you paid for.
- The licence to run the programme ends with the subscription.
- Your own edits and exports stay with you.
