1 / 3Built interface — Plugin source
Overview
Rust Plugin Vault is a library of C# plugins for Rust servers running Oxide, uMod or Carbon. The current set covers kits, teleport and homes, a shop with a server currency, clans, skins, vehicle licences, gather rates, backpacks and a set of admin tools. Each plugin ships as a .cs file for oxide/plugins with a JSON config, a permissions list and a short README that explains every option.
The plugins are written to work together rather than as separate downloads that fight over the same hooks. The economy plugin exposes an API that the shop, kits and rewards plugins call, permissions follow one naming scheme, and the config files share the same layout for messages, cooldowns and command names. When you change a currency name or a chat prefix, you change it once and every plugin picks it up.
Rust changes on the first Thursday of every month and Oxide and Carbon follow with their own updates. While you are subscribed, every plugin in the vault is rebuilt against the new game build and any hook that moved is patched, so you can drop the updated files into oxide/plugins on wipe day. The plan page lists the current contents of the library and the game build each plugin was last tested against.
This is source code, not a hosted service. You run the plugins on your own server, keep your own configs and data files, and can read every line before you load it. Nothing phones home and there is no licence server, so a plugin keeps working on a wipe day even if our site is down.
What you get
- Every plugin in the current library as .cs source with JSON config and permissions list
- Kits, teleport and homes, shop and currency, clans, skins and vehicle licence plugins
- Gather manager, backpacks, remove tool, chat and admin utility plugins
- Shared economy API so shop, kits and rewards use one balance
- A README per plugin covering commands, permissions and every config key
- Rebuilt plugin files after each forced wipe and Oxide or Carbon update
- Sample oxide/config files tuned for a mid-sized vanilla-plus server
- New plugins added to the library as they are written
Eligible resources
The plan covers these resource types. Individual resources are listed in your Gaming Library as they publish.
- Oxide plugins
- Carbon plugins
- Config files
- Permission sets
- Plugin READMEs
Features
- One permission scheme
- Every plugin registers permissions under the same prefix pattern, so a single grant for a VIP group covers kits, homes and the shop.
- Rebuilt after every wipe
- When a forced wipe moves a hook or renames a prefab, the affected plugins are patched and the updated files appear in your library.
- Readable, editable source
- Each plugin is a single .cs file with clear regions for commands, config and hooks, so changing behaviour does not mean decompiling anything.
Compatibility and requirements
Works with
- Oxide / uMod or Carbon on a current Rust dedicated server
- Config files in oxide/config, data files in oxide/data
- Works alongside common community plugins that use the same Economics-style API
- RCON access recommended for reloading plugins without a restart
You need
- A Rust dedicated server you control with Oxide, uMod or Carbon installed
- File access to the oxide/plugins and oxide/config directories
- Basic familiarity with granting permissions through the console or RCON
Updates and content cadence
- Use every plugin in the library while your subscription is active
- The plan page lists the current contents and the Rust build each plugin was last tested on
- Compatibility patches after each forced wipe and after Oxide, uMod or Carbon changes
- New plugins added to the library as they are finished
License
- Licensed for one server network you own or operate.
- You may edit, re-texture and configure resources for that network.
- Reselling, sharing or re-uploading the files is not permitted.
Installation
- 1Download Rust Plugin Vault from your Gaming Library.
- 2Copy the .cs files you want to run into oxide/plugins and let the framework compile them.
- 3Open the generated JSON files in oxide/config and set currency names, cooldowns and messages.
- 4Grant permissions to your groups with oxide.grant or carbon.grant, then reload the plugins.
If you cancel
- Access and updates continue until the end of the period you paid for.
- The licence to run the plugins ends with the subscription.
- Remove the plugins from live servers once access ends.
