Overview
Developer Tools Kit is a set of resources for the person who builds and maintains a FiveM server rather than the people who play on it. Every tool is gated behind an ace permission, runs only when a developer convar is set and adds nothing to the client for ordinary players. The kit exists because the same dozen chores, finding a coordinate, spawning a test vehicle, reading what an event actually sent, restarting a resource after a one-line change, come up every day and deserve proper tools.
The coordinate and zone editor lets you walk to a spot, drop a marker, adjust it with the gizmo and copy the result as a vector3, vector4 or an ox_lib zone definition. The spawner lists peds, vehicles and props by model name, and the handling editor changes handling.meta values on the live vehicle with a slider per field and exports the block when you are done. The event logger records every net event with its source and payload, filtered by resource, so you read what was sent.
Hot reload watches a resource folder and restarts it when a file changes, with a guard list for resources that must never restart on a live server. The NUI inspector opens any resource's NUI page in a dev panel with its messages and callbacks listed, and the database console runs read queries against your oxmysql connection with the results in a table and write queries only after a confirmation and with the statement logged. Each tool is a separate resource, so you run only the ones you want.

Compatibility and requirements

You need
- A FiveM server you control
- Ace permissions configured for your developer group
Updates and content cadence
- Compatibility updates as FiveM artifacts, natives and ox_lib change
- Fixes and revisions to each tool while subscribed
- New tools added to the plan as they are written
License
- Licensed for one server network you own or operate.
- You may edit, re-texture and configure resources for that network.
- Reselling, sharing or re-uploading the files is not permitted.
Installation
- 1Download Developer Tools Kit from your Gaming Library.
- 2Place the tool resources you want in your server's resources directory.
- 3Add the ace permission lines from permissions.cfg to your server.cfg.
- 4Set `setr ds_devtools 1` on your development server only.
- 5Add the `ensure` lines to server.cfg after ox_lib and oxmysql, then restart.
If you cancel
- Access and updates continue until the end of the period you paid for.
- The licence to run the developer tools ends with the subscription.
- Remove the developer tools from live servers once access ends.
