Overview
Lightbar Lab is DistroSource's emergency lighting set for FiveM. It is a library of lightbar patterns with the carcols.meta and carvariations entries that drive them, covering patrol, unmarked, EMS, fire and tow vehicles, along with takedown, alley, amber and rear traffic-director sequences.
It is for departments whose cars all flash the same default pattern, and for owners who have tried to write carcols by hand and stopped halfway. Every pattern arrives as a finished config rather than a description: the timing table lists each stage in milliseconds with its colour channels, so a pattern can be read, copied and altered without trial and error. Setups are matched to the vehicles in our Fleet Garage line, and the siren sheet says which tone belongs with which sequence.
Patterns are revised while you are subscribed, and new sets are added when lighting behaviour changes on the platform. If you cancel, updates stop and the licence to use the patterns ends with the period you have paid for.

- Every released pattern set from your first day
- New sets and revisions as they release
- Updates when platform lighting behaviour changes
License
- Licensed for one server network you own or operate.
- You may edit, re-texture and configure resources for that network.
- Reselling, sharing or re-uploading the files is not permitted.
- The patterns are licensed while your subscription is active.
Installation
- 1Download the pattern sets from your Gaming Library.
- 2Copy the carcols.meta and carvariations entries into your vehicle resource.
- 3Map each vehicle to its pattern and siren tone using the bundled sheet.
- 4Add the `ensure` lines to server.cfg and restart.
If you cancel
- Access and updates continue until the end of the period you paid for.
- The licence to run the patterns ends with the subscription.
- Remove the patterns from live servers once access ends.
